Publications: Inmates may receive a limited number (limit not specified) of individual books, periodicals, or newspapers produced by major approved publishing companies, provided the publications are sent directly from the publisher concerned, or an established approved retailer.

Each Warden/Superintendent may establish a limit upon the number of publications allowed per prisoner, consistent with the accommodations available at each institution.

Restrictions, if any, on calendars not listed in Inmate Handbook. Verbal information from GDOC indicate that calendars fall under the same regulations as books. Must fit in the locker.

Gwinnett County: Paperbacks or Magazines, limit 4 per package, with packing slip from authorized retailer. No Amazon or EBAY independent sellers.
