March 9 2022: He wrote on his "not a blog" the following: "Yes, of course I am still working on THE WINDS OF WINTER."

In July 2017, Mr. Martin said that he thought the book might be 
out end of 2018 or early 2019

• The price has not been set. (#5 hardback was $35)

• Paperback publication generally takes place one year after hardcover release.

• Please note the 7 year gap between the publishing of books #4 & #5. 

• Book #5 was released over 18 months after the originally announced date.

We are all hoping he lives long enough to finish the book.
